This volume the Chronicles of the island of Credunt Insulis involves a reclusive vampire Lord Draziya whose self imposed exile kept him from the changes of the world around him and centuries later he left his home to discover his hometown had become the ruins of Castle Cliff. He explored the island and observed much suffering and in a moment of clarity as he began to draw parallels in the island's isolated state and it's decline and his own mentality, with this he began to put his wealth towards rebuilding the damaged port and funded the development of a new city Spes Advenit. When he had additional support from locals to build the city he then funded ships to reach out to lands across the seas to promote the once forgotten island Credunt Insulis as a land of opportunities and trade routes. The cruel Johungurer, the serpent of fear seeing that peace is beginning to form, decided to fuel the civil war of the city Rosiskar between the humans and supernatural residents with twisted whispers and his control of terror and paranoia. As well this Johungurer saw opportunity in disarming the home of necromancy, corrupting through the unspoken fear of the citizens of Vale Peak, another settlement in the mountains. Their uncertainties about their strange living myth the Pale Lady and her bone Witches as well as the dracolich Loriana who once was a bone witch returns from her journey into the depths of hell reborn a dracolich only to be stopped by Roslie Lilium who under the influence of Johungurer has her legion of undead attack the dracolich, their battle broke into the city walls and as the people ran from the collateral damage and chaos, Momento Mori the massive undead dragon left her caves of Bone Spires high above Vale Peak to stop the conflict between her two bone Witches, the intervention had consequences for her own city not recognizing her as the Pale Lady instead feared her as a monster, forcing the three to leave before the city turned against them. Gigi Preth, a woman from another land comes to the island to start a fresh and as walks the island Gigi is ambushed by a road bandit and as they exchange sword strikes and blows Gigi finds herself overpowered but the bandit hesitates and confesses he wants to die for abandoning his family before they perish. Unaware of the history or recent events of the island, she indulges to listen to the man who shares his story as Filius Warin and the fate of his home the kingdom of King's Stand. Through shared stories of sorrow and hardship, they decided to travel together although their destination is unknown to them, they end up on the outskirts of the Evening Sands. Lucifer in Pertidus body tried many attempts to source out information on the Sisters of Woe and their whereabouts, their presence on the island unmistakable however has bear no fruit and so he decides to travel to the city of the demons of sin Lasphina, where his minions have resided since the end of the second Endless War, unaware their master still lives. Skeptical at first, they welcomed their master's return and as he began assembling the forces and sending out his minions to search the entire island for any traces of the Sisters of Woe, their abilities to see the past and future is what Lucifer desires. The demon lord Sed Sugere who's fail campaign in hell led many to believe he had perished, felt the familiar feeling of a summoning, there in the ripples between himself and the calling of a woman trapped in the desolate realm of Devoid. Olivia desperate to leave the timeless realm and to warn others of the coming invasion of hell. Her summons for an audience with Sed Sugere lead to the realization that the two pillars of hell Eve and Ebony Fang can sense Sed Sugere presence and are coming for revenge as well as Eve's cunning to steal the Sisters of Woe's powers. Torn between survival and a rare moment of gratitude he offers a deal in exchange for helping her escape he asks for a favor in the near future, desperate Olivia
