Deloris Campton War And Strategy College

Nestled in the heart of Norvigaard, the Deloris Campton War And Strategy College stands as the nation's most prestigious and selective military academy, reserved exclusively for those deemed worthy of dragonriding. Upon completing their mandatory five-year military service requirement at age eighteen, graduates who score exceptionally on the military placement examination are invited to this elite institution to undergo rigorous rider training. The sprawling campus features dragon stables of remarkable engineering, training grounds scarred by centuries of aerial combat drills, and lecture halls where strategy, draconic biology, and aeronautical theory are taught by veteran riders. Those accepted into the rider program understand they are entering into a lifelong bond, as the mandatory service period extends from five years to a lifetime commitment once a rider pairs with their dragon. The college thrives with constant activity, its skies perpetually filled with the magnificent silhouettes of dragons in training, their roars echoing across the surrounding valleys. Dormitories, dining facilities, and extensive medical centers serve the hundreds of active students and their bonded companions. The grounds maintain meticulous care, with groundskeepers, veterinarians, and support staff ensuring both rider and dragon remain in peak condition. While the prestige of attending Deloris Campton is unmatched throughout the realm, the training is notoriously brutal, and not all who arrive successfully complete their bonding. The college has produced Norvigaard's greatest military heroes and remains the nation's most powerful symbol of strength and unity.
