Silver City Kansas
Created by HeadsmansbasterdSilver City Kansas is a remarkable and fortified settlement nestled in the heart of the Great Plains. Boasting a rich and complex history, this city stands as a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of its inhabitants. The city's centerpiece is a grand, square-shaped concrete fortress, surrounded by a meticulously maintained estate and a 12-foot concrete wall. Beyond this first line of defense lies a well-designed, if slightly crowded, town in the style of the American prairie, protected by a second wall. Further out, a sprawling shanty town of winding roads and tight alleys serves as a refuge for those seeking safety from the harsh realities of the Great Plains. Despite its formidable appearance, Silver City has cultivated a distinct western/desert punk atmosphere, blending the practical necessities of survival with a touch of gritty, frontier-inspired flair. The city's economy is largely driven by a nearby dimensional rift, which has given rise to a unique coastal ecosystem, providing a rich bounty of treasures and adventure for daring explorers. The city's history is marked by both triumph and adversity, as its inhabitants have weathered the challenges of the ever-changing landscape, natural disasters, and the occasional incursion from otherworldly forces. Yet, through it all, Silver City has endured, a shining beacon of resilience and ingenuity in the vast expanse of the Great Plains.

Landmarks
The Oasis Cantina
Nestled in the heart of the shanty town, the Oasis Cantina stands as a beacon of respite and revelry. This dimly lit establishment, adorned with weathered wooden beams and tattered fabric canopies, offers weary adventurers a chance to unwind and indulge in the local libations. The air is thick with the scent of spices and the murmur of hushed conversations, as patrons gather around rickety tables to swap tales of their latest exploits in the nearby dungeon rift. The bartender, a grizzled veteran with a keen eye and a quick wit, presides over the proceedings, serving up potent concoctions that are rumored to grant temporary immunity to the harsh realities of the desert landscape.
The Abandoned Armory
Nestled within the winding alleys of the shanty town, the Abandoned Armory stands as a relic of the city's past. Once a well-stocked military outpost, the crumbling structure now serves as a haven for scavengers and adventurers seeking rare and valuable artifacts. The air is thick with the scent of rusted metal, and the echoes of past battles linger in the shadows. Those brave enough to venture inside may uncover hidden caches of weapons, armor, and other forgotten treasures, but they must be wary of the dangers that lurk within its decaying halls.
