The Grimnar Confederacy is a vast and diverse region located in the Southeast, dominated by rolling fields, wild plains, and mighty forests. Despite its untamed appearance, this land is home to a complex network of tribes and factions, each with its own history and ambitions. Centuries ago, the beastfolk races of Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Kobolds, and even Giants were driven from their ancestral lands near the Great Lazuli Lake by the encroaching human and elven settlements. In response, these disparate tribes came together under an accord, forming the Grimnar Confederacy as a means of defending their way of life and reclaiming their lost territories. Now, the Confederacy is ruled by a pair of chieftains with vastly different visions for the future. One chieftain, recognizing the need for diplomacy and cooperation, seeks to establish cordial relations with the neighboring nations to the north and west. The other, however, is a more bellicose leader, amassing his armies and preparing for a potential conflict, either against the human and elven settlements or the rival nation controlled by a ruthless khan who covets the Confederacy's lands. The Grimnar Confederacy is a land of contrasts, where the untamed wilderness coexists with complex political maneuverings and the constant threat of war. Its diverse inhabitants, each with their own unique customs and traditions, struggle to maintain their way of life in the face of external pressures and internal divisions. Despite the challenges, the Confederacy remains a place of great natural beauty and cultural richness, a testament to the resilience of its people.
