Centuries ago, this site served as the city's vital aqueduct system, ingeniously channeling fresh mountain water through intricate carved passages to sustain the growing settlement above. In more recent decades, enterprising merchants purchased the ancient waterway and transformed it into an unconventional brewery, ingeniously repurposing the flowing aqueduct channels to transport vast quantities of beer throughout the sprawling complex. The operation thrived for a time, drawing customers from across the realm who marveled at the innovative feat of engineering, but financial troubles and the constant influx of intoxicated trespassers swimming in the beer channels eventually forced the owners into bankruptcy. Today, the brewery lies abandoned and desolate, its cavernous chambers filled with rusted brewing equipment, toppled barrels, and scattered metalwork that corrodes slowly in the damp underground air.
