Young recruits entering the Barracks understand they are embarking on a path that will define their entire existence, with the expectation that they will remain within these walls for two centuries until reaching the age of two hundred. During their tenure, warriors have access to comprehensive medical facilities, nutritious provisions, and training grounds overseen by master instructors who represent the pinnacle of combat expertise. Only males are allowed in the military. Meritocracy is the key and even a young warrior may gain the highest ranks if he proves himself, however the social hierarchy within the Barracks is strictly maintained, with veteran soldiers commanding profound respect and authority over younger ranks, creating a chain of command that extends beyond mere military protocol into daily life. Families of the Fallen are given the fallen warriors pay and Sword as a sign of respect and are exempted from taxes and if the draft is waived given thier families have already have sacrificed for their people. Each City town and even village has a Barracks due to the reptilian citizens martially orientated culture.
