Boom Boom Barrage

Created by alexiss

When you cast Boom Boom Barrage, you channel torrents of volatile arcane energy into a weapon of your choice, transforming it into a conduit of devastating magical force. As you direct the weapon toward your target, each strike—whether a sword slash, arrow release, or spear thrust—tears open rifts of unstable magic that manifest as blazing projectiles. These ethereal bolts streak through the air and erupt in brilliant explosions upon contact with their mark, leaving scorched earth and dissipating arcane residue in their wake. The initial impacts begin at a measured cadence, with distinct booms punctuating the air between strikes, but the magical feedback rapidly intensifies as the spell reaches its crescendo. Within moments, the barrage accelerates into a relentless symphony of detonations, with overlapping explosions creating a maelstrom of searing magical force. The weapon glows with an increasingly brilliant light as the arcane instability reaches its peak, before the spell finally exhausts itself and the magical enhancement fades away.
