Spell

Consciousness Absorption.

Created by ArcaneWitch5499

This insidious spell transcends mere physical devastation, instead targeting the very essence of consciousness itself to establish dominion over minds. When the caster successfully corrupts a target, their consciousness persists within the caster's own psyche—not obliterated, but imprisoned and absorbed into an ever-expanding collective awareness. The absorbed victims retain fragmented consciousness of their former selves, their memories and knowledge becoming accessible tools for the caster while they languish under relentless corruption. This accumulation of absorbed minds grants the caster devastating strategic advantages, as they gain complete understanding of every relationship, secret, and vulnerability of those they have consumed, information weaponized against those who continue to resist. Most horrifyingly, the caster can selectively manifest specific absorbed consciousnesses to display agonizingly genuine glimpses of their original personalities, creating devastating emotional manipulation that exploits the bonds of friendship and loyalty. Visually, the caster manifests as an undulating mass of liquid darkness interwoven with cascading glitches, pulsing veins of violet energy, and fragmented crystalline shards that perpetually shift and reform across their form.
