This devastating third-level spell conjures an invisible field of crushing gravitational force in a 20-foot cube centered on the caster, manifesting the bitter will of its creator who sought to humble those who soared above the earth. All creatures caught within the sphere's radius find themselves violently pressed to the ground, their bodies pinned by immense weight that prevents them from standing or moving of their own volition. Any airborne foes are immediately wrenched from the sky and slammed to the ground with tremendous force, their flight rendered utterly useless against such overwhelming power. Those affected by Gravitas suffer intense force damage as the gravity intensifies around them, leaving them helpless and prone. The spell was born from a mage's deep resentment toward those gifted with the ability to fly, viewing such freedom as an undeserved privilege that needed to be stripped away. By casting this spell, the mage sought to force all creatures to experience the same earthbound limitations that bound those without wings, teaching them through brutal demonstration what it meant to be grounded.
