Spell

Lurching Void

Created by Talen Rydell

When this dark incantation is unleashed, writhing tendrils of abyssal energy erupt from the earth itself, lashing out to ensnare and pierce the flesh of up to five creatures within range. The shadowy appendages drag victims through planes of suffering, inflicting wounds that seem to originate from the void between worlds. Those struck by this malevolent magic find themselves paralyzed and unable to act during their next turn, caught in the grip of otherworldly torment. The spell deals piercing damage infused with the essence of undeath, tearing through both body and spirit. Undead creatures and those with non-corporeal forms remain unaffected by this curse, their nature rendering them immune to its devastating effects. Only practitioners of the sixth level or higher, possessing deep knowledge of archaic magical traditions, possess the power necessary to channel such eldritch forces.
