Spell

Paso Entre Faroles

Created by alexiss

**Paso Entre Faroles** When you cast this spell, you touch or approach a modest light source—a lantern, candle, lamp, or torch—and your form dissolves into a swirling cloud of smoke interwoven with luminous motes. In the span of a heartbeat, you materialize beside another nearby lit source of your choosing that you can perceive. Observers witness only a fleeting shadow dancing between the two points of illumination. This spell proves invaluable for tactical repositioning, whether you seek to evade danger, slip past sentries undetected, or gain advantage over adversaries in combat. The destination light must remain burning throughout the casting; should it be extinguished before your arrival, the spell fails and you reappear at your starting location. The magic functions only with small, well-defined flames and cannot bridge the gap under direct sunlight or across vast infernos. Upon each successful translocation, your arrival point flickers three times with an otherworldly pulse, regardless of air currents.
