Pure Evil

This devastating curse manifests as writhing tendrils of abyssal shadow that pierce through flesh and soul alike, fundamentally corrupting the very essence of those it touches. The spell channels the unfiltered malevolence of the lower planes, twisting the victim's alignment toward chaotic evil and subjugating their will entirely to the whims of pure wickedness. Those afflicted find their own motivations stripped away, replaced by an overwhelming compulsion to commit acts of depravity and destruction. The corruption persists relentlessly, consuming the victim's mind and spirit until death claims them, though it may be temporarily lifted through powerful purification rituals or by consuming the legendary Elixir of Life. Only spellcasters who have themselves fallen victim to this curse and have attained sufficient power—at least 6th level—can channel its terrible energies. The spell cannot affect those whose hearts remain aligned with goodness, targeting only those whose alignments permit such dark influence.
