When you cast this spell, a virulent fungal infection takes root within your target's body, causing countless mushrooms to sprout from every pore and opening across their skin. The grotesque fruiting bodies rapidly expand in size and number, tearing through flesh as they burst outward in a horrifying display of unnatural growth. As the mushrooms continue their relentless expansion, the target experiences excruciating pain as their body becomes a writhing landscape of fungal protrusions. The sheer biomass of the sprouting fungi creates an internal pressure that becomes impossible for the victim to withstand. Within moments, the accumulated weight and force of the burgeoning mushrooms causes the target's body to rupture catastrophically from within. This devastating spell leaves behind only spore clouds and organic debris as evidence of the target's demise. Few creatures can survive the onslaught of this macabre fungal assault.
