Spell
Storm Stopper
Created by Matthew1001This enchanted artifact channels the raw power of the heavens to dispel tempestuous weather and restore clear skies. When activated, the wielder can command violent storms to dissipate, calming raging winds and halting torrential downpours with but a thought. The magic works by disrupting the chaotic energies that fuel severe weather patterns, gradually clearing away storm clouds and returning conditions to fair weather. Those who possess this item find themselves immune to the worst effects of inclement weather while holding it. The Storm Stopper draws upon the wearer's own vitality to fuel its magic, requiring concentration and focus to maintain its effects over prolonged periods. Legends speak of ancient sky-touched druids who first crafted this relic to protect their lands from endless seasons of rain and lightning. The item shimmers with a faint aurora of electric blue light whenever weather threatens to turn dangerous.
