Blade of Death
Blade of Death is a cursed longsword that was forged in the depths of the Abyss by a demon lord. At first glance, it appears to be a simple, dull blade with no discernible power. However, when a creature is slain by this blade, it absorbs a fraction of their life force, growing slightly stronger with each kill. The catch is that the blade can only grow stronger through diversity. It cannot slay the same type of monster at the same level more than once, preventing it from becoming overpowered too quickly. This limitation forces the wielder to seek out a wide variety of foes and challenges in order to unlock the true potential of the Blade of Death. As the blade grows in power, it gains new abilities and enhancements, such as increased damage, improved accuracy, or even the ability to drain the life force of enemies to heal its wielder.
