This imposing greatsword crackles with barely contained chaotic energy, its blade rippling with colors that shift between crimson and deepest shadow. The weapon was forged in the depths of the Abyss itself and bears runes of binding along its fuller, glowing faintly when drawn from its sheath. When wielded, the Bloodwoven Reaver grants its user advantage on attack rolls made against fiends and aberrations, as though the blade itself hungers for their destruction. Each hit resonates with a discordant sound, and on a critical strike, the target must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn as reality warps around the impact. The sword requires attunement and demands that its wielder engage in combat at least once per lunar cycle, lest it whisper temptations and impose disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws. When attuned, the user gains resistance to psychic damage and can cast the spell *Confusion* once per day, centered on a point the blade touches. The weapon is nearly indestructible but grows dormant and powerless if not bloodied in combat for more than a month, returning to full potency once violence is again visited upon its enemies.
