The Ignis Tonitru is a formidable and peculiar weapon, forged by the skilled hands of a blacksmith and his mage spouse. This black steel musket is adorned with intricate runes, which imbue it with the power of fire and lightning. The barrel houses a volatile mixture of arcane runes, granting the weapon the ability to unleash a devastating energy bolt that can devastate a horse-drawn cart or cleave a man in two. However, this power comes at a cost, as each shot drains the user's energy and blood, the barbed handle siphoning their very essence allowing any user to only fire three shots before being too exhausted and needing to rest, however if one was to push further then four shots would gave permanent health complications and five shots would fatal. The Ignis Tonitru is a testament to the ingenuity and protective nature of its creators, who sought to safeguard their town from the threat of bandits with this extraordinary and perilous device.
