This elegant wooden longbow features an exquisite elven craftsmanship that speaks to centuries of tradition and skill. The bowstring shimmers with a soft silver glow, pulsing gently with latent magical energy even when at rest. When an arrow is fired from this bow and strikes its target, it unleashes a burst of lightning that courses through the wound, dealing an additional 3d4 lightning damage beyond the arrow's normal impact. Upon a successful hit, the very air around the target becomes turbulent and chaotic, with heavy rain suddenly manifesting in a 50-foot radius centered on the struck creature. This magical downpour creates treacherous conditions, reducing visibility significantly and making the ground slick and difficult to traverse. The rain persists for several minutes before gradually subsiding, leaving behind the lingering scent of ozone and wet earth. Stormbow was meticulously crafted by elven artisans and given as a cherished gift to Emory by the young elf Fraendulin, making it as much a symbol of their bond as it is a formidable tool of combat. The bow requires no special attunement but seems to respond most readily to those of pure intent and noble heart.
