The Bone Katana

A masterwork of necromantic craftsmanship, this curved blade is forged from the bleached skeletal remains of an ancient leviathan, its edge honed to supernatural sharpness. The guard depicts three constellations—the Reaper, the Serpent, and the Broken Crown—each inlaid with silver that seems to drink in starlight. Twisted vines of petrified wood spiral along the fuller, capable of bursting forth as living tendrils to ensnare and strike at enemies during combat. To awaken the weapon's true power, the wielder must perform a midnight ritual involving drops of their own blood mixed with grave soil, spoken in a language older than kingdoms. Once awakened, the katana pulses with an otherworldly green luminescence and its roots respond to the wielder's intent, lashing out with supernatural speed and precision. The weapon carries a price—those who bond with it report hearing whispers of the depths from which it was harvested, visions that blur the line between memory and madness.
