The Dragons Embrace
This magnificent plate armor channels the primal fury of volcanic devastation into a bastion of divine protection. The chest and shoulders consist of interlocking plates carved from matte-black basalt, their surfaces etched with intricate holy runes that glow with veins of molten lava flowing through the seams. Crowning the wearer is a helm of dark obsidian glass, its narrow visor blazing with an intense solar radiance that obscures the paladin's features behind divine light. A trailing cloak of ash-grey, fireproof weave completes the ensemble, perpetually shedding harmless sparks that dance and swirl around the wearer's feet. When donned, the armor emanates a soothing warmth that bolsters the courage of nearby allies while rendering the wearer immune to all forms of fire, both natural and arcane. Any foe foolish enough to strike this legendary protection in melee combat is answered with a violent spray of molten stone, a scalding reminder of the wrath they have provoked.

Scorched Scale
This imposing shield is constructed from interlocking plates of porous black obsidian and dense basalt, creating a formidable barrier that rises nearly as tall as its wielder. The volcanic materials that comprise its surface bear the unmistakable scars of intense heat, with charred edges and heat-fractured patterns that speak to its origins in the fires of creation. The obsidian plates catch the light with a glassy sheen, while the basalt sections provide structural weight and durability, their rough texture offering reliable grip even when slicked with ash or blood. Despite its substantial size and materials, the shield's porous construction grants it surprising balance, preventing it from becoming unwieldy in prolonged combat. The scorched finish across its face seems to smolder faintly in dim light, as though the flames that forged it have never fully extinguished. When raised in defense, this shield radiates an aura of primal volcanic power, inspiring both confidence in allies and dread in enemies who face its dark, imposing visage.
