Greaves Of Quick March

Created by Bobbyx

These polished steel greaves are crafted with exceptional lightness despite their sturdy construction, allowing the wearer to move with surprising grace. Intricate runes of swiftness are etched along the shin plates, glowing faintly with a soft blue light when the wearer is in motion. The greaves are perfectly balanced to distribute their weight evenly across the legs, reducing fatigue during extended travel and combat. When worn, they grant the bearer increased speed and endurance, making long marches feel effortless even when clad in heavy armor. The articulation points are exceptionally smooth, allowing for fluid movement that would normally be hindered by standard plate armor. Adventurers who don these greaves report feeling lighter on their feet, as if the very air conspires to aid their passage. The enchantment particularly benefits those who wear full plate armor, offsetting the typical mobility penalties such heavy protection usually imposes. Warriors have praised these greaves for enabling them to keep pace with lighter-armored companions without sacrificing protection. The magical enhancement grows stronger the longer the wearer travels, building momentum as miles accumulate. These greaves are favored by knights and soldiers who must cover vast distances without compromising their defensive capabilities.
