This scorching cloak shimmers with an otherworldly orange and crimson hue, wreathed in perpetual flames that dance and crackle without consuming the wearer. When worn, the Hellfire Mantle envelops its bearer in roaring infernos that respond to incoming attacks, deflecting blows with searing heat. The wearer gains resistance to fire damage and can use a reaction to reduce the damage of a single attack by half, as the hellfire surges outward to meet the threat. Additionally, any fire damage dealt by the wearer's spells and attacks increases by 1d6, as the cloak amplifies and intertwines its infernal power with their own. The flames provide dim light in a 10-foot radius and emit intense heat that can ignite flammable objects nearby. Once per day, the wearer can command the cloak to erupt in a devastating wave of flame, forcing creatures within 15 feet to make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 fire damage, taking half damage on a success. The Hellfire Mantle requires attunement and can only be worn by those with a strong will, as prolonged use causes the wearer's eyes to glow with infernal light.
