Magical Beast-Skin Cloak

Created by Bobbyx

This magnificent cloak is crafted from the supple hide of a magical beast, treated with arcane processes that enhance its already formidable protective qualities. The fur ripples with an ethereal shimmer when touched, and its color shifts subtly between deep purples and midnight blues depending on the light. When worn, the cloak grants the wearer exceptional resistance to cold damage, as if wrapped in perpetual warmth regardless of external conditions. The enchantment actively regulates the wearer's body temperature, maintaining perfect comfort in sweltering heat and biting frost alike. Beyond its thermal properties, the cloak provides a +1 bonus to AC due to its reinforced leather backing and supernatural durability. The beast-skin seems to absorb environmental hazards, protecting the wearer from harsh weather conditions and temperature extremes that would otherwise prove dangerous. Legends suggest the cloak was once worn by a legendary ranger who traversed the frozen wastelands of the north. The cloak requires attunement and bears faint runes along its hem that glow softly when its protective magic is actively engaged. Despite its formidable appearance, the garment is remarkably light and never impedes movement or causes fatigue to the wearer. This is a treasure worthy of any adventurer who faces the elements in their travels.
