These sky-fallen beings waged cataclysmic wars against the ancient dragons, reshaping continents and extinguishing entire civilizations in their struggle for supremacy. Yet Zy'Tl Q'Ae's reign of terror proved short-lived; the combined might of the Dragon Lords, though costly, was sufficient to drive back the invaders. Mortally wounded in its final confrontation, the colossal tree-thing did not perish but instead collapsed into the depths of the Great Forest of Tob, where it fell into an unnatural slumber—neither fully alive nor truly dead. For centuries, it remained entombed in that verdant prison, its immense body slowly being consumed and concealed by the forest itself, becoming one with the very land that held it captive. Yet time could not kill what the Dragon Lords could not destroy, only delay. Zy'Tl Q'Ae's sleep grew restless over the ages, each stirring sending tremors through the forest and terror into the hearts of its inhabitants, particularly the dryad Pinison Pol Perlia and her kin. A band of seven legendary adventurers once ventured into the woods and engaged the creature's writhing tentacles in a desperate struggle, managing through cunning and valor to force a temporary submission before retreating with hollow promises of a final confrontation.
