Place a Character inside a World’s Location so the Character becomes part of that connected setting. You can also move a bound Character between Locations in the same World.
Add a Character to a Location
- Open the World.
- Open the Location where the Character should live.
- Select Characters, next to Landmarks.
- Tap +.
- Choose Create New, From Library, or From World.
- Select the Character.
- If importing from your Library, review Import to this Location? and tap Import.
- Confirm that the Character appears inside the Location.
Importing an unbound Character into a Location also imports that Character into the World.
Move a Character between Locations
- Open the destination Location.
- Open Characters and tap +.
- Choose From World.
- In the Move Character list, check the Character’s Bound status and Current Location.
- Select the Character.
- Tap the count-based move button, such as Move 1 Character.
- Confirm the move when prompted.
This workflow moves a Character between Locations in the same World. It does not establish that a Character can be transferred between separate Worlds.
Troubleshooting
- The Character is not in From Library: it may already be bound; try From World and check its current Location.
- The Character does not appear after importing: return to the destination Location, reopen Characters, and allow the import to refresh.
- The controls are missing: confirm that you own the World or have the necessary Shared World permission.
