When the cataclysmic Bramble Brush transformed the once-verdant forests and meadows into a twisted, corrupted jungle saturated with wild magic and abominations, it created an impenetrable barrier between the Imperial Commonwealth and the wider world. To contain whatever horrors writhe within that unnatural expanse and to monitor for any Imperial incursions through this forbidden frontier, Reimos constructed seven keeps along this cursed border, with Whiterock serving as their bulwark in the frozen north. The fortress's distinctive pale walls, bleached white as marble by centuries of harsh snow and bitter winds, have become as much a part of its identity as the soldiers who garrison its battlements. Connected by a well-maintained road to the mystical city of Brighstone, the keep remains a crucial link between the civilized realm and this desolate frontier. The perpetual cold that grips Whiterock's ramparts has proven both curse and blessing—a natural defense that few dare challenge, yet a constant trial for those stationed within. From these walls, vigilant watchmen scan the snowy taiga stretching endlessly before them, ever alert for signs of twisted beasts emerging from the Wilds or evidence of Imperial activity probing the border's defenses. The soldiers of Whiterock have become hardened veterans, their discipline and courage tested daily against the unknown threats that lurk beyond the corrupted threshold.
