This grotesque weapon manifests as a pair of writhing, sinuous appendages that sprout from the wielder's shoulders when summoned. The tentacles are composed of hardened chitin that shimmers with an otherworldly bioluminescence, shifting between deep purples and sickly greens. When the wielder makes a ranged attack, they can launch individual tentacle segments as piercing projectiles that travel with supernatural speed and accuracy. Each segment is capable of punching through plate armor and stone alike, leaving gaping wounds in its wake. The weapon automatically returns to the wielder after each attack, reforming seamlessly as the tentacles regenerate their spent portions. A creature struck by these projectiles must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be pierced for 2d8 piercing damage. The tentacles grant the wielder advantage on Dexterity checks made to climb or maintain balance. Once per day, the wielder can command the tentacles to attack multiple targets within 60 feet as a bonus action. The weapon requires attunement and slowly corrupts the wielder's alignment toward chaos with extended use.
