Chaotic Reaver

This full body suit of armor is forged from obsidian-black steel that seems to absorb light rather than reflect it. Emblazoned across the chest plate is the profane mark of the Chaos Lord Malachx, a symbol that writhes and shifts when viewed from different angles. The armor grants you advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, as the chaotic energies woven into its very essence fortify your mind against external influence. When you hit with a melee weapon attack while wearing this armor, you can choose to reroll the damage dice once per turn, taking either result. The wearer's movements become unpredictable and erratic, granting you advantage on Dexterity saving throws. However, the armor's chaotic nature occasionally compels you to take reckless action—whenever you finish a short or long rest, make a Charisma saving throw or be compelled to act impulsively on your next turn. The obsidian surface is unnaturally cold to the touch and seems to whisper with the voices of those lost to chaos. Despite its dark appearance, the armor is surprisingly light and does not impose disadvantage on Stealth checks. Attuning to this armor requires you to spend 1 hour meditating on the nature of chaos and disorder.
